a documentary on open rescue…

This documentary features the animal rights group Empty Cages (Tomma burar) who started openly rescuing animals from Swedish farms in the summer of 2015. They leave cookies and letters for the farmers before they leave the farms. After the open rescues they call the police and report on themselves. The activists have been convicted to pay fines and damages and two of them have served prison sentences for the rescues. The documentary was released in 2017 and is filmed and produced by Teresia Fant. The film is edited by Geir Fjermestad Rolandsen.
